For me, it was!

Hi, I am Jen Heim and I am a Professional Organizer in Portland, OR.  Clutter is such a personal thing that we all struggle with. Sustainable Simplicity Organizing has given me the opportunity to truly help others dig deep and tackle real everyday issues that are holding them back. I have learned about taming chaos through years of parenting and Public Accounting experience. I have learned that having systems and organization in place (as well as decluttering the extra baggage) is actually an effective way to reduce the stress and anxiety that life throws at us.

I am a Portland native who is a huge fan of being eco-friendly and taking care of our personal, work and natural environments. I will help you find the best way to let go by finding new homes for, or recycling, the items you are ready to part with. I will support you through this difficult process so that you feel like what remains in your space are only the items that really bring value to your work and life.

As a mother and someone who is no stranger to working late hours, I have had plenty of personal experience with being overwhelmed and how getting organizational systems in place can be life changing.

My first career of 13 years was in Public Accounting specializing in Corporate Tax Provisions. While I loved the challenge of the job and the puzzles I got to solve each day, it was lacking the fulfillment of helping people on a personal level. Professional Organizing gives me both the challenge of problem solving as well as the joy of bringing peace to others.

I have completed both the Inspired Organizer and Organizing Essentials trainings through the Pro Organizer Studio. I love creating calm and a sense of control.

When there is less distraction and stress around us, creativity and productivity can happen. I can't wait to help you reduce some of the chaos!

Minimalism isn’t about having less, it is about making room for what matters.
